The rapid development of the MMA movement in Vietnam and the LION Championship tournament has attracted many foreign fighters to compete and with the strength of their existing foundation, foreign fighters are gradually becoming a threat.
Accordingly, recently at the mixed martial arts event LION Championship 09, two fighters from the C88 Jiu-jitsu Club, Felipe Negochadle and Maurice Horn, showed some of the absolute strength of previous foreign fighters.
In the previous event, LION Championship 07, Felipe Negochadle and Maurice Horn showed their different class by submitting and technically knocking out their opponents, respectively.

At LION Championship 09, Felipe Negochadle faced Nguyen Nguyen Chuong, the #5 ranked boxer in the tournament’s 65kg weight class.

In the remaining match, German biologist Maurice Horn also won an impressive submission victory over boxer Le Van The Anh.

As soon as the bell rang to start the match, Maurice Horn immediately approached and caught The Anh’s lower body.
However, it was not until the beginning of the second half that, starting from The Anh’s weak defense, Horn rushed forward and successfully took down The Anh.
